Kim Urr
Gulf Coast Based Artist
Meet Kim
Kim’s work is deeply inspired by her love of nature, animals, and figurative art. Time spent exploring wildlife-rich areas has shaped her creative vision, while living among diverse landscapes has only deepened her passion for capturing the natural world. Through her art, Kim seeks to share the beauty, vitality, and spirit of nature—inviting others to see the wonder she experiences in every creature and environment.
Kim originates from Ohio but was fortunate to live in Alaska for 28 years, including Anchorage and Fairbanks, where she studied at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. She lived in New Mexico for 14 years and Iceland for three years. She also lived in South Florida, East Florida, and now resides on the Gulf Coast of Florida.
She works mainly in oils and soft pastels but has also used acrylics, dabbled in watercolor, and tried her hand at sculpting.
Kim is open to commissions to create custom art for your home as well as murals for public spaces.
